Egyptian SaaS startup Qme announced it has raised $3 million in a seed funding round led by technology company AHOY and a group of angel investors from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
Qme: Revolutionizing Queue Management
Qme is an AI-driven platform addressing critical issues in the MENA region, where inefficient queuing systems lead to significant time loss. The startup aims to fill a market gap where 92% of appointments are made via phone, leading to a 31% no-show rate.
Success in Partnership with AHOY
The partnership with AHOY is a major milestone for Qme, enhancing its capability to optimize movement and improve customer experiences. Maged Negm, CEO and Co-Founder of Qme, emphasized the significance of this collaboration and noted the addition of Jamil Shinawi, AHOY's CEO, to the Qme Advisors Committee.
Other Egyptian Startups on the Rise
Startups like Taager and Simplex are also making waves, securing significant investments to expand their platforms across the MENA and GCC regions.
The funding and partnership with AHOY present Qme with new opportunities to advance queue management technologies and improve customer interactions in vibrant market conditions.
