  1. AI Service Development
  2. Qtum Core Updates
  3. Ecosystem Development

  4. In August, the Qtum team focused on developing three key areas: Qtum Core, Ecosystem, and AI services. This article covers the major events and accomplishments of the month.

    AI Service Development

This month, the team actively worked on the 'Text to Voice' AI service. Together with the Qtum Qurator and Qtum Solstice projects, this service will allow users to input text and select a voice for narration. Testing and model selection are ongoing, and updated information is expected soon.

    Qtum Core Updates

For Qtum Core, the team has completed testing version 26.1, with its release planned for 2024. This version will incorporate the latest Bitcoin Core updates. Version 27.1, currently under development, will bring the latest Ethereum Dencun upgrades and is scheduled for launch in 2025. Detailed information is available on the Qtum project's GitHub.

    Ecosystem Development

The current focus of the Qtum ecosystem is on supporting the QBRC-20 standard and deploying Circle's 'Bridged USDC Standard'. An audit of the Qtum MetaMask Snap wallet has been organized, and the Qtum-Ethereum Bridge has been audited by Certik. An incentivized testnet and integration campaign with FoxWallet and Metamask are planned for September or October.

Thus, August was filled with active development and testing for the Qtum team. We will continue to update on further achievements and developments next month.
