WEMADE has announced the launch of the Race to WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP for the 2025 season in KLPGA Tour, using the WEMIX points system.
New Points System in KLPGA Tour
The Race to WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP was introduced in 2023 and enters its third year in 2025. Players accumulate WEMIX points based on their performance in each tournament, with final season rankings determined by the total points collected. In 2023, Im Jin-hee claimed the first ranking, followed by Yoon Ina in 2024.
Prizes and Participant Qualification
WEMADE will award a prize of 100,000 WEMIX to the player ranked first in the WEMIX Point standings at the end of the season. This prize will be sourced from market purchases to stabilize the ecosystem. High-ranked players will also qualify to participate in the WEMIX CHAMPIONSHIP, scheduled for the end of the year. Lee Yewon emerged victorious in 2023, followed by Minseon Kim in 2024.
Start of the 2025 Season
The 2025 KLPGA Tour season officially started with the opening tournament held in Phuket, Thailand, over four days starting Thursday, March 13. Park Bo-gyeom claimed victory in the opening match, and the current top three players in the WEMIX point standings are Park Bo-gyeom in first place, Ko Ji-woo in second, and Lee Ga-young in third.
