EOS Network has announced its rebranding and transition to Web3 banking under the name Vaulta, establishing an Advisory Council and forming strategic partnerships.
Transition to Web3 Banking
Vaulta will continue to leverage the technical infrastructure of the EOS Network, including its smart contract architecture, decentralized database, and inter-blockchain connectivity. This change represents more than just a name shift. It is a step forward in achieving the goal of providing open, accessible financial access for all.
Role of the Advisory Council
As part of the transition, Vaulta has established the Vaulta Banking Advisory Council, comprised of financial and blockchain industry experts. The council includes executives from Systemic Trust, Tetra, and ATB Financial. Alexander Nelson, Senior Director of Digital Finance at ATB Financial, remarked: “Vaulta’s strategic realignment into Web3 banking is a significant development for the industry. This move not only opens the door for traditional funds to enter decentralized finance via Bitcoin, but also paves the way for greater institutional adoption.”
Strategic Partnerships
The firm is also expanding its Web3 banking ecosystem through strategic partnerships, including collaborations with Ceffu, Spirit Blockchain, and Blockchain Insurance. Additional partnerships are expected to be announced in the coming months.
The rebranding of EOS Network to Vaulta and the shift to Web3 banking mark a step forward in providing open financial access and driving institutional adoption of decentralized finance.
