Blockchain payment giant Ripple has obtained money transmitter licenses in New York and Texas. These licenses will allow compliant access to Ripple Payments infrastructure for U.S. customers, broadening the company's service reach.
Global Expansion
With the new licenses, Ripple's overall portfolio now includes 55 global licenses. Among these are the coveted New York BitLicense and a Limited Purpose Trust Company Charter. Ripple also holds regulatory approval in Ireland, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates.
