Robert Kiyosaki, a well-known financial educator and author of 'Rich Dad Poor Dad', has reaffirmed his belief in Bitcoin's prospects despite the asset's current high price.
Kiyosaki's Support for Bitcoin
In a recent post on X, Kiyosaki expressed confidence in continuing to invest in Bitcoin, despite its price exceeding $107,000. He emphasized that the asset remains 'priceless' due to its long-term potential. Kiyosaki recalled his first Bitcoin purchase at $6,000, a price he initially thought was too high but now considers a missed opportunity.
Current Bitcoin Market Situation
At the time of Kiyosaki’s post, the Bitcoin price was around $107,250, having risen over 5% in the past week. Analysts note that the current market situation remains optimistic, with Bitcoin on the brink of the next growth phase. Meanwhile, Bitcoin maximalists like Pierre Rochard argue that the asset has not yet entered the 'euphoric zone.'
Recent Investments by Metaplanet in Bitcoin
In another development, Tokyo-based company Metaplanet announced the acquisition of 1,005 BTC, raising its total Bitcoin holdings to 13,350. The firm has become one of the five most active corporate Bitcoin owners globally. Metaplanet also plans to issue zero-interest bonds worth $208 million to further invest in Bitcoin.
Robert Kiyosaki's endorsement and the active purchases by companies like Metaplanet indicate a growing interest in Bitcoin from both retail and institutional investors.
