Robert Kiyosaki, author of 'Rich Dad Poor Dad,' has claimed that Bitcoin could rise to $350,000 in 2024. The financial systems critic Kiyosaki is known for his controversial predictions.
Record Bitcoin Growth
The leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin has seen significant growth over the past year, surging by nearly 121%. Last month, its price exceeded $100,000 for the first time, reaching a new all-time high of $108,135 on December 17. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $97,572 on the Bitstamp exchange.
Kiyosaki's Conflicting Statements
It is worth noting that Kiyosaki's predictions require caution. In June, he was 'confident' that Bitcoin would be able to hit $350,000 sometime in 2024. However, Kiyosaki's statements on social media often contradict each other. In November, for example, he said he would stop buying Bitcoin once it crossed the $100,000 mark. Nevertheless, after hitting this milestone in December, he urged his followers to buy more satoshis.
Other Forecasts for Future Growth
As reported by U.Today, Fundstrat's Tom Lee also sees Bitcoin reaching $250,000 this year. Moreover, his forecast could be even higher if the U.S. government creates a strategic Bitcoin reserve. Meanwhile, Galaxy, headed by Mike Novogratz, believes that a rise to $150,000 in the first half of the year is possible.
Forecasts for Bitcoin's growth in 2024 vary but attract investors' attention. Kiyosaki remains a highly discussed figure in the cryptocurrency world thanks to his eccentric style and controversial predictions.
