Robinhood platform has announced new services: cash delivery and an artificial intelligence assistant for its Gold subscribers.
Cash Delivery as a New Service
Robinhood Markets plans to offer a cash delivery service to its customers at home. The service is provided in partnership with Coastal Community Bank and will be available to Gold subscribers. According to CEO Vlad Tenev, cash delivery will become as commonplace as ordering a cab or food delivery.
AI Assistant for Gold Subscribers
Later this year, Robinhood will introduce an AI assistant called Cortex, providing analyses and insights for Gold subscribers. The development took two years, considering traders' feedback. Abhishek Fatehpuria, the company's VP of product management, added that the firm is exploring the inclusion of cryptocurrencies.
Expanding Presence in Crypto and Fintech
Robinhood continues to expand its offerings in crypto assets. The platform recently launched a prediction betting markets hub, which saw its stock soar by 8%. Additionally, Robinhood added memecoins to the platform and introduced futures contracts on cryptocurrencies.
Robinhood solidifies its position in the financial technology market by incorporating new technologies and approaches to enhance its services.
