Semler Scientific has acquired 211 Bitcoins for $21.5 million at an average price of $101,890 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses. This brings the total value of Semler’s Bitcoin holdings to $168.6 million, based on an average purchase price of $80,916 per Bitcoin.
Funding the BTC Purchase
Semler funded its Bitcoin acquisition through proceeds from its ATM offering and operating cash flow. The company has been utilizing its Controlled Equity OfferingSM Sales Agreement with Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., allowing it to offer and sell common stock periodically to raise capital.
Semler's Results and Plans
Since the launch of the ATM program in August 2024, Semler has generated approximately $100 million in gross proceeds. Furthermore, the company has filed a second prospectus supplement to its S-3 Shelf Registration, seeking to offer an additional $50 million in shares, which will bring the total amount offered under the ATM program to $150 million. Semler also highlighted a Bitcoin yield of 92.8% as a key performance indicator for its cryptocurrency investments.
