The burn rate of SHIB tokens has significantly decreased, but the community remains committed to reducing the overall token supply.
Decrease in SHIB Token Burn Rate
According to data shared by the wallet tracker Shibburn, the SHIB token burn rate has dropped nearly 100 percent over the past week. During this period, 46,451,929 tokens were transferred to dead addresses, meaning they can no longer be used.
Ongoing Token Destruction
Despite the steep decline in burn rate, 180,292 SHIB tokens were burned within just 24 hours, marking an 87.60 percent drop compared to previous days. However, the community continues to actively pursue the burning of tokens.
New Shib Alpha Layer Explorer
According to the SHIB-linked account @Shibizens, a beta version of the new explorer for Shib Alpha Layer has been launched. This tool allows users to access block and transaction data in real-time, enhancing transparency within the ecosystem.
The decline in SHIB's burn rate has not impacted the community's efforts to destroy tokens, while the rollout of the new Shib Alpha Layer explorer indicates ongoing infrastructure development.
