Koin Games has announced the second alpha tournament for its Web3 card game Project O, scheduled for July 26 at 2 PM UTC. Participants will have the chance to win unique prizes, including Blueprint NFTs and game packs.
Tournament Details
The second alpha tournament will be held in a double elimination format and is open to all active playtesters. Participants will be required to create decks of 13 cards and compete in matches as part of the tournament. This event will allow Koin Games to test balance, pacing, and early progression mechanics.
Prizes and the Significance of Blueprints
Participants will have the opportunity to win 4 Blueprint NFTs, which are key assets in the Project O ecosystem. Each Blueprint represents ownership of a specific card's intellectual property and entitles holders to royalties whenever that card is minted, upgraded, or traded on-chain. Only 100 Blueprints exist per card design.
Conducting the Tournament and Its Goals
The main goal of the tournament is not only to give active testers a chance to win prizes but also to demonstrate how the game plans to reward top players and active participants. Sign-ups are being coordinated through the Project O Discord.
The second alpha tournament for Project O marks an important step in the game's development, allowing for testing of mechanics and encouraging participation through a rewards system tied to future economic activity.
