Sonic Labs has announced a partnership with Immunefi to launch a $2 million bug bounty program. This initiative follows the recent launch of the Sonic mainnet.

Sonic Labs and Immunefi Collaboration

Sonic Labs is partnering with the Immunefi platform to offer a bug bounty program amounting to $2 million. This collaboration aims to enhance the security of the Sonic blockchain running on the Ethereum Virtual Machine. Several exchanges, including Binance, support the token migration from Fantom to Sonic.

Security of the Sonic Protocol

The bug bounty program will enhance the security of the L1 Sonic protocol and the Gateway bridge connecting this blockchain to Ethereum. Sonic is working with leading audit firms, including Open Zeppelin, Quantstamp, and Certora, ensuring the bridge's security.

Support and Prospects of the Program

The Immunefi platform, which has successfully paid out over $110 million to white-hat hackers, offers bug hunting opportunities for Ethereum and other blockchains. As part of the collaboration, up to $1.5 million in rewards may be available for participants of Ethereum-based Attackathons.

Sonic Labs' collaboration with Immunefi highlights a commitment to improving network security and interoperability with other blockchains. Such initiatives emphasize the importance of protection for stable platform operation.
