Sonic network, once known as Fantom, has reached a new all-time high in TVL, marking significant growth achievements in 2025.
Sonic's New Record in TVL
According to DeFi Llama, Sonic's TVL exceeded $979 million, starting the year with $25 million in January. This February, app revenue reached over $926,000 with chain fees nearly $30,000 on the same day. February 24 marked the highest inflow with close to $10 million. Last month's DEX volume hit a record of almost $3.65 billion. Sonic is rapidly expanding with new and innovative apps launching weekly.

In the past 24 hours, Sonic had over 53,340 active addresses, increasing by 30% today. On March 25, it recorded over 47,000 active addresses. Successful transactions peaked on February 21 with more than 1.1 million.
FTM Tokens Rebranded to S
Recently, Sonic Labs announced Binance.US support for the FTM to S upgrade. The exchange facilitated the token swap on behalf of customers. Fantom tokens were rebranded to Sonic at a 1:1 ratio. Over the past week, S saw a price increase from $0.49 to over $0.63.
