American company SpaceX has successfully launched Bitcoin mogul Chun Wang and three crew members into space. The launch took place from its Florida launch pad.

Today, SpaceX successfully launched the Fram2 mission. A video of the liftoff from the Florida launch pad was posted on X. The mission includes a flight over Earth's poles and is designed to conduct a variety of scientific experiments, including growing oyster mushrooms in microgravity and capturing human X-ray images.
Homage to Roald Amundsen
The Fram2 mission is a tribute to Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen and his 1911 expedition to the South Pole. The mission's logo references Amundsen's famous photograph at the South Pole.

Chun Wang, known as an early Bitcoin adopter, gained fame through mining from 2011-2013 and founding F2Pool. Wang remains active in communities beyond Bitcoin and is now part of a space venture.
