Squarecrows has announced the launch of its unique NFTs, which combine digital ownership with real land plots in Scotland's national nature reserve.
Innovative Approach to NFTs
Squarecrows offers NFTs on the Polygon blockchain, granting ownership rights to 3m x 3m land plots in a Scottish national nature reserve. This bridges the digital and physical worlds with community involvement.
CEO's Perspective on Squarecrows
Squarecrows CEO Doug Wilson highlighted that these NFTs come with legal ownership rights and aim to create a community. Despite current NFT market conditions, he believes their product stands out by offering more than digital assets and inviting users to engage in both real and digital worlds.
Location and Features of the Plots
The land plots are located in Glen Nant, known as Scotland’s rainforest. Their location is specified in the NFT metadata and expressed by a unique What3Words string, as well as latitude and longitude of the center point, enabling owners to locate and visit their plots easily.
Squarecrows invites NFT collectors, nature lovers, and Web3 newcomers to explore a new avenue for NFT ownership aimed at creating and connecting communities.
