Amouranth is not just a streamer but is also known for her significant crypto holdings. In the past, she shared information about her crypto portfolio, including 211 bitcoins. This may have prompted the criminals to target her.
Increasing Crypto Crime Trend
This is not the first incident where crypto investors have been physically attacked. In 2024, a similar case occurred with influencer Kevin Mirshahi, who was kidnapped and killed. Security experts advise crypto holders to be more cautious and to protect their assets both online and offline.
The increasing cases of attacks on crypto holders highlight the need for enhanced security measures. Those with significant crypto assets are advised to limit the public access to information about their holdings.
