  4. Sun Token and BitTorrent cryptocurrencies showed significant growth on August 21 amid positive news about their ecosystem.

    Sun Token (SUN) rose by over 50% to $0.0196, its highest level since 2022, with a market capitalization of over $182 million. BitTorrent (BTT) jumped by over 25%, reaching $0.0000010. Other ecosystem tokens like Tron (TRX) and Just (JST) rose by double digits. The rally followed the launch of the SunPump platform by Justin Sun, which has accumulated over $1.5 million in assets.

    Tron: Major Player in Blockchain Industry

    Tron has become one of the most successful blockchains in the industry, with over 2.36 million active addresses, surpassing Ethereum and Solana. The market cap for Tron-based stablecoins is $59.54 billion. Tronscan data shows over 49 million stablecoin holders on Tron, with a trading volume of $46 billion on August 21. Tron has generated $1.05 billion in fees this year.

    Success of BitTorrent File System

    BitTorrent's ecosystem is also thriving. The number of weekly miners in the BitTorrent File System rose to 8 million, and the total storage contracts reached 168 million, making BTFS one of the most prominent storage solutions in the blockchain industry.

    SUN and BTT tokens are rallying despite the overall volatility in the cryptocurrency market. The total crypto market cap has dropped by 2.6% to $2.19 trillion, with Bitcoin remaining at $59,000.
