Supra has announced the completion of the first season of the Super dApp Showdown, where projects competed in DeFi, GameFi, and other innovative solutions.
Launch of the Competition
The Super dApp Showdown launched in August 2024 in Seoul, South Korea, attracting Web3 developers worldwide to create 'super decentralized apps'. Participants demonstrated how Supra's technologies could enhance their projects, evaluated by judges from Supra and the 'Killer Whales' show.
Winners of Season One
Nine outstanding projects were selected after months of competitive fray, including Pixudi, Evo, and Crystara. Pixudi combines the nostalgic feel of Dungeons & Dragons with modern Web3. Evo offers a trading terminal for professional traders, and Crystara is an NFT marketplace using Supra's decentralized randomness.
Supra's Next Steps
Winners will receive support from Supra's $100 million fund and features on the company's media platforms. They are also reviewed by the 'Killer Whales' team for potential show appearances. Supra continues to present these projects through marketing activities and is preparing for the second season.
Supra continues to foster innovation in the Web3 space, opening avenues for new projects. The next Super dApp Showdown cycle will further explore decentralized technology capabilities.
