A survey by ChainPlay and Storible reveals that 70% of Americans now own cryptocurrency, highlighting the rapid growth of interest in digital assets in the U.S.

Survey Results

With 1,428 participants surveyed, it shows that cryptocurrency is becoming a popular investment for people of all ages. Many Americans, over half, have sold stocks and gold to invest in Bitcoin.

Impact of Political Events

The election of Donald Trump has prompted 40% of Americans to increase their investments in crypto. Notably, 84% of these were first-time buyers.

“Looking to the future, our survey reveals a strong sense of optimism in the crypto market. A majority (60%) of investors expect to double their holdings by 2025, signaling high confidence in the continued growth of digital currencies.”Chainplay

Risks and Crypto Scams

Despite the growing interest, cryptocurrency-related scams have also increased. According to FBI, Americans lost over $5.6 billion to crypto schemes.

In just a few years, cryptocurrency has become a major type of investment in the US, but with it have come new risks such as scams and losses.
