Terraform Labs is offering investors a last chance to recover losses from the Terra collapse by launching a claims portal.
Eligibility Criteria for Compensation
The claims portal is part of Terraform Labs’ bankruptcy plan. To qualify for compensation, investors must prove ownership of Terra ecosystem assets at the time of the collapse. Assets with less than $100 in liquidity and the Luna 2.0 token are excluded.
Claims Review Process
After submission, claims will be reviewed and verified. Initial decisions will be communicated within 90 days after the deadline. The compensation amount depends on the number of approved claims and available funds.
Recap of the Terra Collapse
The collapse of the Terra ecosystem in May 2022 resulted in billions of dollars in investor losses. Luna lost most of its market capitalization, and TerraUSD lost its dollar peg, leading to legal issues for Terraform Labs and Do Kwon.
This claims process may be the last opportunity for affected investors to recover part of their funds.
