Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino once again dismisses rumors of the company's plans to launch its own blockchain network. Instead, the company focuses on supporting USDT integration and advancing artificial intelligence technologies.
Denial of Tether Blockchain Rumors
Paolo Ardoino responded to a post questioning potential Tether blockchain launch, clarifying it was not true. Last year, Ardoino stated the company isn't working on a proprietary network, focusing on USDT integration across platforms instead.
Diversification and Artificial Intelligence
Rather than creating a blockchain, Tether chooses a different diversification strategy by focusing on AI development. They are working on an open-source AI model training platform called Tether Data and building applications like Keet using Holepunch technology.
Tether USDT Growth
Despite advancing in AI, the USDT stablecoin remains Tether's core business. In 2024, the company profited $13.7 billion, with USDT capitalization reaching $141 billion, setting a new record.
Tether continues to solidify its market position through USDT integration and technology development, while denying rumors of launching its own blockchain network.
