  4. Aviator Arcade offers new opportunities for game developers by providing innovative solutions for creating and integrating games across different platforms. This article explores the key aspects of development, from API and Unity to the future of the platform and its tokenomics.

    API Setup and Project Structure

Aviator Arcade is built on Node.js/Typescript with MongoDB as the database. The API routing is managed through Express with data validation ensuring that data is tested and validated before processing. Logging is done with Morgan, and testing is handled by Mocha and Chai. Each API route has its own integration test, and online documentation is handled by Swagger for ease of use by external developers.

“When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.”Leonardo da Vinci

Development for Unity and Unreal Engine 5

For Unity, a package has been created for easy installation, consisting of 100% custom code in C# currently being tested by one of our early game developers. For Unreal Engine 5, a plugin was developed in C++ supporting Blueprint for easier development. Both packages will soon be available through GitHub.

    Aviator Arcade Tokenomics

Aviator Arcade will be built on Coinbase's new Layer-2 blockchain, Base, requiring no token migrations. Key advantages of Base include support from Coinbase, high speed and low transaction costs, and the use of ETH as the native gas token. Tokenomics are divided as follows: 50% to developers and the project, 30% to a rewards pool, 19% to the treasury, and 1% burned per transaction. Gamers and developers can earn AVI tokens through various activities on the Aviator Arcade platform.

Aviator Arcade aims to create a supportive ecosystem for game developers, offering diverse tools and platforms for their projects. Utilizing new blockchains and an innovative approach to tokenomics enables stable and sustainable growth for the platform and its community.
