Composition of the Crypto Task Force
The Crypto Task Force consists of 15 members, including a Chief of Staff, Chief Counsel, Chief Policy Advisor, and Chief of Operations. The team is led by Commissioner Hester Peirce. Staff from Acting Chairman Mark Uyeda’s office and other SEC divisions are also included.
Key Appointments
Richard Gabbert has been appointed Chief of Staff, while Mike Selig takes the role of Chief Counsel. Notable team members include Landon Zinda and Veronica Reynolds, both experts in the crypto industry.
Goals and Objectives
The team aims to develop solutions to complex crypto regulatory issues. The team will hold its first roundtable discussion on March 21.
