On June 3rd, 2025, the Second World Computer Summit was hosted in Zurich by the DFINITY Foundation. The event brought together numerous international experts to discuss the future of the open internet.

As the summit concluded, Dominic Williams announced a new era of Internet Computer 2.0. He highlighted that the new platform offers a unique cloud computing environment that facilitates the use of AI to build functionality through voice commands.
