On July 14, Bitcoin reached an all-time high of $123,000 before slightly pulling back. At the time of writing, it was valued at $118,862. This initial rise boosted The Smarter Web Company’s Bitcoin investments by 11%, worth approximately $19.26 million. CEO Andrew Webley has stated that Bitcoin is central to the company’s strategic future.
Market Response and Stock Performance
The company’s focus on Bitcoin has significantly impacted its stock. Following the announcement, its stock price surged nearly 20,000% to £605 but later fell by 70%. Currently, it trades at £290, down 2.9% from the announcement date.
