According to the report, TikTok removed 3.6 million videos, marking a 50% increase compared to Q4 2024. This indicates the company's commitment to creating a safe digital space.
Moderation Effectiveness
Between January and March 2025, 92.1% of violating videos were removed within 24 hours due to a high proactive detection rate of 98.4%. "The report reflects TikTok’s continued investment in innovation and technology to improve moderation systems," the press release states.
Commitment to Public Safety
Additionally, TikTok banned over 42,000 LIVE rooms and interrupted 48,000 streams in Nigeria that violated community guidelines. The platform is partnering with Cece Yara to expand in-app youth safety resources.
