Japan's largest mobile game developer launches Tokyo Beast on the Immutable platform, combining traditional mobile gaming expertise with cutting-edge blockchain technology.

Game Overview: Tokyo Beast Unveiled

Tokyo Beast introduces a new style of gameplay that seamlessly blends traditional mobile mechanics with Web3 innovation. Set in the futuristic Tokyo of 2124, the game presents a world where androids known as replicants possess a will of their own. In this universe, humans live in luxury while competitive combat becomes a form of entertainment. At the heart of Tokyo Beast is 'XENO-karate,' a high-stakes tournament where androids—referred to as 'BEAST'—battle for supremacy. The game is designed for dual participation, with competitors assembling a team of four BEAST androids and entering intense tournaments, while spectators predict match outcomes and earn rewards based on accurate forecasts.

Web3 Features

Tokyo Beast stands out with its integration of blockchain technology. Key Web3 features include a pooled NFT system that allows new players to join without owning NFTs. Players can stake tokens to receive BEAST NFTs, which can then be staked for additional tokens and in-game items. Advanced breeding mechanics allow players to create unique, rare variants of BEAST androids, adding depth to the gameplay and encouraging long-term engagement.

Immutable’s Role in Enhancing Tokyo Beast

Immutable brings significant advantages to Tokyo Beast, including high liquidity, support for major in-game tournaments, and enhancing the overall gaming experience. Scalability of Immutable’s solutions ensures that the game can handle large-scale events without compromising speed or security. Support for Ethereum-based assets and its own zero-knowledge scaling solution, Immutable zkEVM, ensures smooth interactions between various blockchain elements.

Tokyo Beast marks an important step for Immutable in strengthening its position in Asia's Web3 market, expanding its audience and setting new standards for competitive Web3 games.
