A recent error by a trader led to the loss of 31.22 ETH when they unintentionally sent the funds to Ethereum instead of PulseChain. The current market situation raises questions about the platform's functionality.
Event and its consequences
The trader lost 31.22 ETH, equivalent to $112,745, due to an unsuccessful transaction on the PulseChain platform. The event was first reported by Whale Alert on social media, indicating that the transaction occurred when ETH was priced at $3,611.56.
Attempt to recover funds
The trader reached out to the Ethereum validator TitanBuilder through blockchain messages. In the message, they described the situation and asked for the funds to be returned, mentioning that their wallet malfunctioned and sent the transaction to the Ethereum network, which was not their intention.
Refund to the trader
A few hours later, validator TitanBuilder confirmed a refund of 29.5295 ETH, totaling $103,511.61. The validator stated that they refunded 100% of the block profit back to the user.
This case highlights the importance of careful attention to transactions in the cryptocurrency world, as well as the possibility of recovering funds in such situations due to the responsiveness of validators and communities.
