According to the Irish Independent, Trinity College Dublin has partnered with Ripple to launch a blockchain research initiative at the Adapt Research Ireland Centre. The partnership provides $200,000 in funding over two years for Trinity College. As part of the agreement, the university will host an XRPL validator—a node that verifies transactions on Ripple’s blockchain network.
