The former EOS network has announced its rebranding to Vaulta, set to complete in May 2025, including a token swap and new financial focuses.
Why EOS is Becoming Vaulta
EOS was one of the largest blockchain networks but faced governance issues and market relevance loss. Now, with the new Vaulta brand, the network takes a strategic step towards Web3 banking. CEO Yves La Rose emphasized that Vaulta isn't just a new name but a full-fledged Web3 banking infrastructure.
Advisory Council and Banking Innovations
To bridge traditional and decentralized finance, Vaulta has created a banking advisory council, including experienced banking and blockchain experts like Lawrence Truong and Didier Lavalle.
EOS to Vaulta Token Transition
A key part of the rebrand is the transition of EOS tokens to Vaulta Tokens, scheduled for May 2025. The new tokens will be available on over 140 exchanges and integrated into Vaulta's banking ecosystem to support new Web3 applications.
The rebranding of EOS to Vaulta marks a significant milestone in the network's history, providing a fresh identity and opportunities for integrating traditional and decentralized finance.
