Vitalik Buterin has shared his vision for the ideal Ethereum wallet, with a focus on security and privacy. He believes these wallets should have properties of decentralization and censorship resistance.

Emphasis Placed on Privacy And Security

Buterin believes that a wallet should protect users from hackers and their own mistakes. Social recovery and multisig with access control are potential solutions.

But who or what should the guardians be?

Guardians can be friends and family or institutional entities that confirm requests. However, most new users don't have these options yet. Digital keys and ZK-SNARKs are other promising additions.

Privacy, an Everyday Feature

Buterin emphasizes that privacy should be an integral wallet feature, implemented through support for multiple addresses for different apps and integration of private transfer systems.

Buterin's vision suggests turning wallets into intuitive companions using AI and threat analysis technologies, helping crypto evolve beyond its current vulnerabilities.
