  4. Recently, the name of Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, has frequently appeared in the news due to his ETH sales. This week, another significant event occurred in his activities.

    Vitalik Buterin's Recent Transfer

    The wallet address starting with 0xD04d, thought to belong to Buterin, recently sent 1,300 ETH to the wallet address starting with 0x5567. The dollar equivalent of this amount was $3.17 million. Afterwards, wallet address 0x5567 deposited 74.17 of these assets, or $181,000, to Paxos.

    The first wallet, believed to belong to Vitalik Buterin, had not transferred any assets for 348 days. According to Onchain data, Buterin has $607 million in assets at the time of writing, almost all of which are in his wallet as ETH.

    Buterin's Sales and Donations

    Vitalik Buterin sells all the gift altcoins sent to him and states that he donated them. However, Buterin also states that he has not sold ETH for personal purposes for a long time, and that all sales and transfers made from his addresses are either donations or investments in projects he considers promising.
