According to the police report, Alam allegedly created a fake account on the WazirX platform under the alias Souvik Mondal and sold it via Telegram to M. Hasan, who used it to perform the hack. WazirX and Liminal Custody's Involvement
Despite active cooperation from WazirX, absolutions are not forthcoming. Suspicion still lingers over the involvement of its security partner, Liminal Custody. Nevertheless, the company has been cooperative, providing access to some logs and transaction data.
