Webus International Limited, a company known for its high-end AI-driven chauffeur services, has announced the integration of XRP to optimize international payments.
Use of XRP for Global Payments
Webus International Limited plans to utilize XRP, an international digital currency, to accelerate low-cost global payments. The company is looking to raise up to $300 million through non-equity sources like bank loans, shareholder guarantees, and institutional credit.
Partnership with Tongcheng Travel
The company has also renewed its partnership with Tongcheng Travel, one of China's largest travel platforms with over 240 million paying users annually. This collaboration will roll out the 'Wetour × Tongcheng' service nationwide.
Webus Goals and Plans
With the funds raised, Webus aims to create blockchain-based solutions, such as digital wallets and reservation systems stored on the blockchain. Webus CEO Nan Zheng highlighted that these steps will enable the company to offer high-quality travel experiences within and outside China.
