WEMADE is hosting WEMIX OPEN 2025, a large-scale amateur tennis tournament to determine Korea’s best non-professional players. The tournament operates under the slogan “The Beginning of a Rally Toward a Better World.”
Overview of the Tournament
WEMIX OPEN was launched last year and has quickly established itself as one of the leading amateur tennis competitions in Korea, with 1,374 teams and over 2,500 participants. The tournament has garnered positive feedback for its fair operations and contribution to social initiatives.
Tournament Formats
This year’s WEMIX OPEN 2025 includes a ‘Campus Cup’ for university tennis clubs and a ‘Club Match’ for amateur teams. The tournament is expected to attract around 300 teams and over 1,800 participants, with a total prize pool of 50 million KRW. The first match will take place in Seoul on July 12-13.
Community Support
Teams must register for the tournament through the Wepublic platform from June 23 to July 11. Communities with 8 or more members will receive a box of tennis balls, and groups hosting regular meetups will receive an activity grant of 100,000 KRW. Additionally, the most active group will receive a special MT package.
WEMIX OPEN 2025 is an important event that supports intangible values in sports and fosters active communities. The tournament not only promotes competition but also creates opportunities for social initiatives.
