On March 21st, the WEMIX team resumed the PLAY Bridge service, completing restoration efforts and implementing new security measures.
Service Resumption and Resource Restoration
PLAY Bridge and related services, such as Bridge and Swap, have resumed full operation. All WEMIX Coins withdrawn from the vault will be fully restored using the foundation's holdings. Initially, the priority was given to storing the necessary amount to resume the services to enhance security, and the remaining amount will be restored sequentially across multiple wallets. * Temporary delays may occur if there is a sudden surge in demand, and we appreciate your understanding as this is a necessary security measure.
Security Enhancement Measures
The following measures have been implemented to resume and normalize the services: • Comprehensive penetration testing was conducted. The affected logic and authentication logic have been replaced to block access from the same attack vectors. • All blockchain-related server infrastructure has been migrated to a new environment. • All public and private keys in the service have been replaced. • The scope of service monitoring and control has been scaled, enabling 24/7 real-time transaction monitoring.
Additional Security Improvements
In addition to the primary measures, the following improvements have been implemented: • Strengthened the network segmentation. • Enhanced access control to main servers. • Expanded multi-factor authentication. • Improved security monitoring and tracking systems.
The WEMIX team remains committed to strengthening the security of its services, learning from past incidents, and implementing innovative solutions.
