At the World Computer Summit 2025, a new initiative was announced - the World Computer Hackathon 2025, organized by the DFINITY Foundation and the ICP HUBS Network. The hackathon will take place from July to October and provides developers with the opportunity to create working applications using Internet Computer technology.
Technical Support and Resources
Participants of the hackathon will receive weekly mentorship and feedback from technical experts and seasoned builders. Comprehensive technical support will be available through workshops, office hours, and in-depth explorations of the ICP tech stack, enabling access to a global network of stakeholders.
Competition Stages
The hackathon includes four stages: Qualification, National, Regional, and Global Grand Finale. Teams will be selected based on their ideas and applications at each stage. In the Qualification Round, teams will submit their projects, with 30% proceeding to the next level, and the best projects competing on a global stage for prizes.
