YZi Labs completed its investment in Vana in January 2025. This marks the firm's first AI investment since rebranding from Binance Labs. The investment amount has not been disclosed. Founded in San Francisco in 2021, Vana plans to use the funds to expand its DataDAO ecosystem and promote further platform adoption worldwide.

Following the investment announcement, VANA experienced a significant price increase of over 25%, reaching $7.78 with a market cap of over $234 million at the time of writing.
