Experts from Fundstrat Global Advisors believe that in the next five years, the price of Bitcoin (BTC) could soar to $500,000. Tom Lee, the head of the investment company, shared his thoughts on the future of this cryptocurrency in a conversation with CNBC, pointing to a significant improvement in its liquidity due to the influx of institutional investments.
One of the key points, according to Lee, is the recent start of the process of legalizing exchange-traded crypto funds ETF in the USA, carried out by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). These funds are designed to track the dynamics of Bitcoin, which could be a significant step in the development of the cryptocurrency market.
Tom Lee also speculated that by the end of 2024, the value of BTC could reach the threshold of $150,000. He emphasized that in addition to the introduction of crypto ETFs, the limited supply of Bitcoin plays an important role in increasing its value.
Lee focused on the fact that the limited supply of Bitcoin, combined with the potential growth in demand following the approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs, creates optimal conditions for a significant increase in the value of this digital currency. This opinion is supported by expectations of increased interest from large investors and
