Gala Games announced the appointment of Clash Craft Studios as the new developer for the Web3-based TCG Legends Reborn, planning to release the game in March. This came as a surprise to the community and marks a significant step in the revival of the blockchain game Legends Reborn. After a turbulent 2023 for the game's development, Gala Games is not giving up and aims to continue working on the anticipated Web3 project, despite the sudden closure of the original developer, Kung Fu Factory. The game has already undergone several alpha tests in 2022 and additional testing sessions in 2023, when it was added to Steam as an early access game.
Clash Craft Studios will take over the game's development for the Gala Games platform, meaning the game will be launched on GalaChain. All interested can purchase creature packs and epic creature packs in the Gala Games store for a limited time while supplies last. Each pack will include a ritual stone, which can be used to create a team of higher rarity creature tokens.
As the project is now led by a new studio, all previous plans related to the game may change. The official statement from Gala asserts that "all existing tokens will be benefited, and new tokens will also be sold through the Gala Games store."
