Goon Wars introduces a new PvP game mode, Risk Mode, where players can bet with in-game credits for a chance to earn more, which can be exchanged for tokens on the blockchain. This mode is already available in the first phase, allowing players to deposit and withdraw $GOB and $BEAM on the Beam network for bets with USD equivalent in-game credits.

Risk Mode allows playing matches against other players, betting with in-game credits equivalent to USD. Everything remains the same as in other game modes, with the main difference being the opportunity to earn through bets. For example, if you bet $1.50 and win the match, you will have the chance to get your bet back and earn $1.00 profit, totaling $2.50. Winning a match is rewarded with a loot bag containing a random amount of in-game credits, with the minimum and maximum amounts depending on the rarity of the won loot bag.

In the first phase, there are 4 levels of bets: $0.3, $1.5, $3.0, and $15.0, corresponding to Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. To get in-game credits, you need to deposit tokens such as $GOB or $BEAM into the Beam network by Merit Circle. Then you can make a withdrawal, converting in-game credits into one of the two tokens on the blockchain. A certain platform fee is charged for withdrawal, which is used by the studio for marketing, development, and community growth. In accordance with the anti-money laundering system, the withdrawal must be made in the same token that was used for the deposit. If you deposited $GOB, then you must withdraw in $GOB.
