In the game Phantom Galaxies, the first version of patrol missions is now available, introducing new cooperative tasks where teams of 4 players fight against waves of enemies. This brings a new PvE gaming experience, allowing players to enjoy the game and earn rewards, including ASTRAFER, activity points, credits, and experience.

Following the events of February, Blowfish Studios has released a major early access update for its science-fiction RPG Phantom Galaxies, introducing the first version of patrol missions along with other enhancements. Patrol missions are new cooperative tasks that introduce a new multiplayer gameplay, allowing players to battle for various rewards. This is the first major content release of the year, making it a significant step in enhancing the PvE gameplay.

To participate in the new mission type, players simply need to complete or skip the "Target Practice" tutorial mission to gain access to the patrol terminal on Halberd-001, located to the right of the Starfighter console. Currently, only one mission is available at the terminal, but developers plan to add more variations in the future. Before starting the mission, players can see various details such as location, objectives, and more. Once the mission starts, the game will queue you for matchmaking, randomly assigning you to a team of 4 players.

Once everyone is ready, you will be transported to the mission map to complete the objective, which in this first version consists of surviving through 8 waves of enemies. There is no friendly fire in the game, but there is no in-game communication either, so developers have set up voice channels on the game's official Discord server, which you can use to communicate with your teammates.

This early version will continue to be updated, with developers planning to add more enemy variety, new locations, additional objectives, rewards, and much more. If you successfully complete a mission without quitting halfway or disconnecting at any point, you will be rewarded with 1000 credits, 50 XP, 150 activity points, and 1 ASTRAFER. This distribution is for this initial phase, which may potentially change in the future. There is also a daily personal limit tied to your account, meaning that each day you can earn a total of 2500 credits, 100 XP, 300 activity points, and 1 ASTRAFER.

In addition to this new game mode, the latest update, version 5.1.3, also introduces the first set of equipment crafted by the Rangers, introducing 4 new items alongside rebalancing of each weapon. Training missions have been updated, new voice lines added, maximum power level increased, and numerous other changes made to ensure a smoother and polished gaming experience.
