The Phantom Galaxies team has introduced the Rangers I gear collection, which became the first set of items created by the Rangers and added to the game. This collection includes 6 new items, ranging from weapons to equipment. These novelties became part of the first major game update in 2024, which brought numerous enhancements and launched the first version of patrol missions - cooperative tasks where players have to fend off waves of enemies.

In the initial update announcement, mention was made of four new items, but in the latest Medium post, the team disclosed information about six new items, presenting them visually and in the form of a video teaser, as well as a short GIF for one of the weapons. Among the new Ranger equipment that players can earn during space battles are:

  • PB4-C "Checkmate" (burst rifle)
  • P-H9 "Hangman" (scout rifle)
  • HR-X "Hit 'n Run" (shotgun)
  • CHO-RF "Signalman" (machine gun)
  • S-241BN "Bastion" (shield generator)
  • CHF/Y 3 "Champion Ferry" (accelerator)

In addition to introducing these new items, the latest update also made changes to the balance of all existing weapons. According to the announcement, this is just the "first wave" of new items that developers plan to offer to the community. In the future, the team intends to include weapon rewards in Ranger ABCs to provide "our bravest and most diligent pilots with additional firepower!"
