The ZCash team has published information that the size of the blockchain has increased due to the increase in the number of transactions. System participants discovered problems in the network a few days ago. The creators of the project noted that most users were not affected.
The spammer inflated the size of the blockchain, increasing each block to 2MB every 75 seconds. It is obvious that the flow of transactions was carried out in order to disrupt the network, because all of them were in the amount of no more than 1 cent.
The increase in the size of the blockchain, first of all, affected the speed of work. Now, the developers are planning to launch an update that will bring the work back to normal.
Earlier it became known about the incident that occurred with BNB Chain. Hackers hacked the BSC Token Hub bridge and stole over $500 million. At the moment, restoration work has been carried out and the network is operating as before.
