The Norman Rockwell Museum, in partnership with the Norman Rockwell Family, has announced the launch of an NFT-backed series called "Studio Sessions: The Norman Rockwell Collection." This series allows collectors to acquire digital and physical artworks by the late artist, including previously unseen pieces.

This marks the Rockwell estate's first venture into NFTs and is produced in collaboration with Iconic, a platform that assists traditional art institutions in exploring emerging technologies. "Studio Sessions" will be available on Iconic's website starting November 1, with specific artwork details and pricing yet to be revealed.

The proceeds from this sale will support the Norman Rockwell Museum's core missions, including preserving Rockwell's artistic legacy and nurturing new illustrators. Norman Rockwell's celebrated artwork depicting twentieth-century American life will be featured in "Studio Sessions," providing insights into his creative process.

Each "Session" in the series focuses on a specific Rockwell painting and includes a limited-edition museum-quality print with every NFT purchase. Norton Moffatt, the Rockwell Museum's director, sees this as a way to preserve and celebrate Rockwell's legacy through innovative digital editions.
