The developers of Waves have launched the Units.Network testnet, a solution for interoperability between blockchains such as Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, and others, as reported by project representatives.

To participate in the testing, it is necessary to set up a node. The technical requirements and installation instructions can be found in the Unit Zero documentation.

Waves serves as the zero layer (Layer 0, L0) for Units.Network. Waves nodes are used to ensure consensus across all Layer 1 (L1) networks, while Units.Network supports interoperability between them, explained the Units.Network developers.

Units.Network Structure

Waves is a blockchain for deploying smart contracts and launching decentralized applications. Its ecosystem includes: the Keeper wallet, DeFi protocols WX Network, Axly, Swop.fi, Puzzle Swap, the mobile game Waves Duck Hunt, and other projects. The WAVES token is traded on Binance, HTX, and Bybit.

Previously, Waves founder Sasha Ivanov gave an interview in which he discussed Units.Network, the Power protocol, the competition between Ethereum and Solana, and the plans for platform development.
