Web3 gaming company Fusionist recently announced on X (previously known as Twitter) their upcoming second beta test phase, titled “Fusionist Beta II: Galactic Duel,” set to launch on the Steam platform. The company has already distributed Steam beta codes to selected users in preparation for the launch on November 22.
This new phase of the beta test will feature a significant update for their robot simulation game, introducing player vs. player (PvP) modes. This is a notable shift from the previously available player vs. enemy modes. Chinese cryptocurrency journalist Wu Blockchain reported that the beta test will now include up to 3,000 participants.
Fusionist also revealed that players engaging in PvP battles will earn materials and battle points. These points can lead to rewards such as NFTs and a share of the 30,000 ACE prize pool.
For those interested in joining, Fusionist mentioned that additional Steam codes for the beta phase are available. The beta test is scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m. on November 22 and will run until December 13, 2023. PvP gaming sessions are specifically set between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. (UTC).
Back in May 2022, Fusionist successfully raised over $6.6 million in a seed funding round, with Binance Labs and the renowned Web2 gaming company FunPlus leading the round. The funds are aimed at accelerating the development of Fusionist's gaming projects and its Endurance Mainnet ecosystem. In a related update, the crypto gaming sector saw a substantial increase in investment, receiving $297 million in July 2023, a significant jump from the $68 million invested in June.
