On October 5, 2022, Yuga Labs developers announced the formation of a community council that will take part in the nomination of 3 projects every month. After that, members of the ecosystem “Bored Ape Yacht Club” and “Mutant Ape Yacht Club” will choose the best startup that will win a grant from Yuga Labs.

The winning projects will receive a $15,000 award. Yuga Labs announces that the council and community will work closely with each other and help to advance various initiatives.

During 2022, more than 6,000 trade names were registered in the US in the NFT system. Most large companies create conceptual mechanisms for high-quality interaction with their own customers. Department of Advocates by Michael Kondoudis has presented material, based on which from 01/01/2022 to 09/30/2022 6,000 nfts were recorded in the US.

In 2021, only 2,140 NFTs were issued in the United States, which is almost 3 times lower than was recorded for 9 months of 2022.

Experts emphasize that since the beginning of March 2022, a decrease has been in interest in investments in the oil and gas industry. For example, the number of sales on the Opensea platform fell by approximately 60% in the 3rd quarter of 2022, compared to the previous reporting period.

However, there are experts who believe that NFT has a future. Thus, the CEO of “Haun Ventures”, Katie Haun, predicts that the NFT industry will continue to grow in the near future, which will be facilitated by the increasing need of crypto enthusiasts in the metaverse.
