This allows investors to trade bonds on platforms like Ethereum in the form of tokens. Similar to stablecoins, these tokens are backed by full faith in U.S. government bonds, making them a reliable investment choice.

Role of BlackRock and Other Players

Currently, BlackRock leads the market with its USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL), which has reached $531.88 million, increasing by 3.32% over the last 30 days. Other products like Ondo U.S. Dollar Yield (USDY), with a capitalization of $441.14 million, also show significant growth. In particular, Hashnote Short Duration Yield Coin (USYC) increased its capitalization by 27.38% to $309.39 million.

Volumes and Investor Trends

Despite capital growth, the number of investors remains relatively small — only 6,213 accounts. Specifically, only 25 investors hold BUIDL, with 12 active addresses last month. However, BUIDL's transaction volumes remain high, with $78.99 million transferred in the last 30 days. Ondo Short-Term U.S. Government Bond Fund (OUSG) saw a transfer volume increase of 368.38% to $115.97 million, despite a capitalization drop of 16.23%.
