Investment company VanEck has recently announced the launch of a new platform called SegMint, which combines an NFT marketplace and a platform for digital assets. This project targets users from Europe and Asia, while access for US clients is not yet provided. SegMint aims to streamline the process of exchanging digital assets, offering a range of services including mining, a multi-signature wallet, and NFT creation.

Special attention was paid to security in the platform's development, utilizing the Lock & Key technology. SegMint's founder, Matt Bartlett, emphasized that this model addresses the issue of access and ownership division in the realm of digital assets, allowing users to securely share their assets while maintaining control. The platform was developed in collaboration with startups such as Nueva.Tech, Delegate, MINTangible.io, Portals.to, and Walletchat.fun. Additionally, VanEck's CEO, Jan van Eck, expressed the opinion that Bitcoin will reach its historical high within the next 12 months, comparing it to gold and pointing out similarities in the trajectories of these assets.
